Gunshot Reportedly Fired Outside Punjabi Singer AP Dhillon’s Vancouver Home
A gunshot was reportedly fired outside the residence of Punjabi singer AP Dhillon in Vancouver, Canada, on Monday. According to a report by India Today, the jailed gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Rohit Godara have taken responsibility for the incident.
The gunshot was allegedly heard near Dhillon’s home on Victoria Island in Vancouver. Social media messages from the Bishnoi-Godara gang claim that they were behind the shootings in Victoria Island and Toronto’s Woodbridge area. The gang reportedly issued a warning to Dhillon, cautioning him to “stay in his limits” or face dire consequences, due to his alleged association with actor Salman Khan.
In a recent music video for his track “Old Money,” AP Dhillon teamed up with Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. The video, which takes on the style of an action-packed film, portrays Dhillon and his crew embarking on a high-stakes mission. Khan’s character offers a word of caution, urging them to avoid trouble, but eventually intervenes to save them. Meanwhile, Dutt’s character initially poses a threat to Dhillon but changes course after discovering his ties to Salman Khan.
This incident comes on the heels of a previous attack on Salman Khan’s residence. On April 14, two assailants on motorcycles fired five shots outside Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra. The Mumbai Police subsequently named nine individuals in their chargesheet, including Lawrence Bishnoi. Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol, who is based in Canada, claimed responsibility for that attack.
